Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)
Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C). Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone. The P&C meetings are an opportunity to learn more about your child’s school, achievements, future plans and any important issues facing and how we can support the school in resolving these. We also discuss and agree how the P&C contributions are to be used to ensure the school and students get maximum benefit from this investment. We would love to have you on board!
The P&C’s remit is to support the principal and staff to ensure our children have the very best educational opportunities and experience at KHHS

Dates and Details for KHHS P&C meetings 2025
Generally, these meetings are held on the 5th Monday of the term, meeting in the A block Collaborative Learning Space (ACLS) ( upstairs)
- Term 1 -Monday 3 March - 7.00pm - 9pm sharp ACLS Welcome to new parents
- Term 2 - Monday 26 May - A block, ACLS, 7.00pm - 9pm sharp
- Term 3 - Monday 18 August - A block, ACLS, 7.00pm - 9pm sharp
- Term 4 - Monday 10 November - A block, ACLS, 7.00pm - 9pm sharp & Annual General Meeting
How can you support the P&C?
By attending our meetings and paying the P&C contribution you will find on your school fee notice. With these contributions we support the school by providing resources to enhance:
- The learning environment in the classroom
- The physical environment of the school buildings and grounds
In the past few years we have achieved the following:
- Upgrade of canteen facilities
- Installation of fans in the Crossley Hall
- Additional resources for the classrooms and additional lockers
- Replacement of sunshade above the quad
- Installation of Air Conditioning in the collaborative learning space and the Band Rehearsal space
- 4th Science laboratory upgrade whereby P&C funding was matched by Govt funding. Supported by our local MP Brad Hazzard
- New Timpani for the band
- Introduction of new school jackets and hats through our collaboration with the uniform shop
- Upgrade of student change rooms
- Supply of sports equipment
- Support of School Therapy Dog, Lani
- School seating
- Outdoor table tennis table
- Teacher Appreciation Initiatives
- Consultation on new DET policies including mobile phone policy, Diversity and Inclusion policies and Behaviour Policies.

Hiring our facilities
You may apply to use our school’s facilities for appropriate purposes provided your hiring of the facility doesn't interfere with our teaching and learning programs.
