At Killarney Heights High School, we have a knowledgeable, dynamic and caring Careers Advisor, Ms Julie McDermott, who knows our students and their needs well and works collaboratively to help them achieve their career goals.
All students in year 10 will have the opportunity to participate in at least one week of work experience during the year. Some students may choose to negotiate alternate work experiences throughout the year.
Ms McDermott has strong ties with and a great knowledge of the Northern Suburbs and Northern Beaches community and works closely with a range of local industries and other organisations to provide our students with a number of opportunities. All Year 10 students participate in careers education classes.
